![]() ![]() Inevitably, if anyone might be interested in checking out my channel, my questions here are: I am interested in sharing these, as they are where I really allow myself an unrestricted license to bullshit, but I know that the average religious or conservative person would probably viscerally hate them despite my constant claims of personal idiocy. All my public videos are from after I discovered that I could pause the recording, take a hit, then continue recording) and also because my unabashed love for blasphemy and being a judgemental turd really shines through while reading these specific books. I have these specific videos set to private because they feature me, on screen, smoking tons of weed and talking about it (my concerns are of the legal and work related variety. Set to private, though, I have recorded myself reading the entire Satanic Bible (my only completed reading, around 20 hrs), Mark Booth's conspiratorial dumpster fire book: The Secret History of the World (I currently have 17 episodes, most of which are me hurling slightly veiled threats at the author for writing the worst book I've ever read) and I have a tremendous amount of footage of me, an atheist, baked out of my gourd, trying to read the Holy Bible. Those videos include random poetry that I try to understand and critique, me reading the Popol Vuh: The Sacred Book of the Ancient Quiche Maya (the majority of this so far, is me just trying to get through the sprawling intro, I've only just made it to the meat of the text), and me trying my best to read Norman Mailer's Ancient Evenings without interrupting myself (I actually love this book and only rarely interrupt myself on this specific playlist). On my YouTube channel, Prelude to Ulysses, I only have some of my content made public. I'll then sometimes listen to it later and laugh at my weird takes and mostly poor interpretations. My general shtick is I'll smoke a little pot and try to make my way through a few paragraphs of something but allow myself to interrupt the text whenever I want. I have amassed a prolific amount of this content for my own enjoyment. I've made a hobby out of videotaping myself reading books aloud and offering my own commentary throughout.
